I have 2 bunnies of my own and to tell you the truth they can be quite frustrating. especially when you have to clean the cage. I don't have a bunny hutch or an "easy-to-clean" cage. They can also be very fun. I'm new at raising bunnies and my friend, Nick, did some research on raising one. I will give more info on it as I go. There are worth having because they are so cute their price range is a little high ($20.00-$30.00). Anyway, I'm gonna stop boring you with my stories and give you some helpful hints on caring for rabbits.

Rabbits are great pets for children (6-10)(not really that they can clean the cage). Sometimes they do scratch but you just have to teach them how to hold the bunnies. All the cartoons you see portraying rabbits as carrot eaters is all wrong. I mean, they do eat carrots but not as much you can only feed them veggies once a week, so don't go out and buy a whole bunch of carrots casue you will kill your rabbit. I think it is nice to have two bunnies because when you are not home you don't have to worry about them being lonely. Another thing. DON'T LET THEM RUN AROUND YOUR HOUSE I REPEAT: DON'T LET THEM RUN AROUND YOUR HOUSE, the reason is because they will spray everything if they are not neuetered or spayed even if they are they will leave territory droppings all around your house. If you have a big green belt you can watch it run around out there. Remember it is very hard to catch bunnies so supervise them closely.

Here are a few things. When bunnies grunt it usually means that they are mad so don't try to pick them up because they will bite. sniffing means they're annoyed or just talking to you. stomping means he is frightened or mad or trying to tell you there is danger (In his opinion). Playing is when they jump on and off the couch and race around the house like a super-charged toy. There is something called 'chinning' if you have a cat this type is similar to a behavior that a cat has. chinning is when rabbits rub they're chin on something and let out a scent so the other bunnies know that "this property belongs to me" when a bunny hops or dances around it means he is very happy. Females can look like they're pregnant but they're not they are just puling hair from they're chest, WATCH OUT THIS CAN BE HAZARDOUS TO IT'S HEALTH SO ALWAYS GROOM IT. Don't rearrange anything in they're cage the way they put things is the way they want it to stay. Teeth Grinding means that he's happy but loud grinding means he's in pain.<
